The Diva Journals is reading Icy Sparks by Gwyn Hyman Rubio. Very good book.

 

It's about a young girl living in Eastern Kentucky with her grandparents in the 1950s/1960s,  living with a disorder, which is later diagnosed as Tourette's syndrome.
